Build Whatever How to Protect Your Build

You cannot armor a public Build Whatever plot against a player who paid 1,499 Robux for Infinite TNT. You can stop treating that plot as your museum. Protection in this game is a stack: instance, people, parts, pass.

Instance first

Move the real project to a free private server. That single step removes 21 random demolitionists. Everything below is for the remaining risk: friends, alt accounts, and the days you insist on building in public anyway.

People second

Only invite builders you would hand a physical key. Read play with friends and assign a wreck yard. If someone shows up with Galaxy Slap Glove or a Bat, they are carrying a deletion tool. Ask them to unequip near the house. If they refuse, they are not visiting — they are raiding.

The official copy even admits players get annoying and points to a sister experience. Use that escape. Pride is not a building material.

Parts third

Thick floors survive sling shots better than single-stud platforms. Double walls on the street side. Keep TNT-friendly corridors away from the save core. Do not store your nicest furniture on the outer skin; put it in an interior room so a rocket peek does less damage.

Avoid huge unsupported spans. When a bat deletes one pillar, a show-off roof pancake is worse than a missing window. The controls guide helps you stack support without fighting the camera.

Blocks Shield fourth

Blocks Shield costs 49 Robux and exists because the developer knows destruction sells. It will not make you immortal. It can blunt casual grief long enough to leave or kick. Buy it only if you already live in mixed lobbies. If you never leave private, skip it and spend on a theme pack instead.

Do not confuse Shield with Fly Ability or Flying Carpet. Mobility helps you scout attackers; it does not lock parts.

What not to do

Do not counter-grief your own save. Firing Infinite TNT at a troll next to your house is how both of you lose. Do not download a “protect plot” script from a random video — see the scripts safety notes. Do not assume a code will grant admin. The active codes list is empty.

Public showcase routine

If you want strangers to walk your house:

1. Finish and screenshot in private.
2. Recreate a disposable tour version in public, or accept that the original might die.
3. Stay present. AFK showcases are free XP for slap gloves.
4. Leave the moment rockets come out unless you came to film the chaos.

After a wipe

Breathe. Reopen the private server. If that copy is clean, you lost a performance, not the project. If the private copy was the one that died, you invited the wrong person. Rebuild from screenshots and tighten the invite list. Check latest updates only if many players report a store or save bug the same day.

Protection is boring. Boring is how a sandbox becomes a hobby instead of a highlight reel of explosions.
